AC Wind is a wind energy composites manufacturing firm uniquely poised to lead the State of Maryland in the generation and growth of new manufacturing jobs for the wind energy sector.
Position Overview:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the direction and management of all sales & business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, and distribution strategy. The Sales Manager will drive the company's achievement of its customer acquisition & revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develops a business plan & sales strategy to ensure attainment of company sales goals & profitability.
- Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new accounts.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed. ?Provides timely feedback & reporting of key performance indicators to senior management.
- Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in sales management, preferably the wind industry.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience with enterprise software solutions.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness to travel and work/network with a global team of industry professionals.
- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
