AC Wind is a wind energy composites manufacturing firm uniquely poised to lead the State of Maryland in the generation and growth of new manufacturing jobs for the wind energy sector.

Position Overview:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the direction and management of all sales & business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, and distribution strategy. The Sales Manager will drive the company's achievement of its customer acquisition & revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops a business plan & sales strategy to ensure attainment of company sales goals & profitability.
  • Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new accounts.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed. ?Provides timely feedback & reporting of key performance indicators to senior management.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives.
  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in sales management, preferably the wind industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and work/network with a global team of industry professionals.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
